DAY 2: Phuentsholing to Thimphu

Today’s route takes you to Thimphu, the capital and largest city of Bhutan, situated at an altitude of 2248 meters. The drive spans approximately 176 kilometers and will take around six hours, moving through the mesmerizing landscapes of Bhutan. As you ascend from the subtropical plains to the higher altitudes, enjoy the changing scenery from lush greenery to steeper, forest-covered mountains. This journey not only offers an insight into the diverse climatic zones of Bhutan but also provides numerous opportunities for photography and brief stops to take in the breathtaking vistas. Perched on the side of a cliff 900 meters above the Paro valley, the monastery is a breathtaking sight and the hike up, though challenging, is incredibly rewarding. The trek to the monastery takes about 4 to 5 hours round trip and is best suited for those in good health. Along the way, enjoy the stunning views and serene forest path. The road between Paro and Phuentsholing winds through some of Bhutan’s most picturesque landscapes, including lush forests, small towns, and rural landscapes that offer a glimpse into the everyday life of the Bhutanese people. This journey provides plenty of opportunities for last-minute photography of Bhutan's diverse landscapes. Upon arrival in Phuentsholing, check into yourhotel and take the rest of the day to relax. Being a border town, Phuentsholing has a unique blend of Bhutanese and Indian cultural influences, seen in its architecture and the daily life of its inhabitants. DAY 08: Phuentsholing to Bagdogra Airport

After enjoying your final breakfast in Bhutan at the hotel in Phuentsholing, prepare to check out and embark on the last leg of your journey. The drive to Bagdogra Airport covers approximately 170 kilometers and will take around 5 hours. This route will take you through the scenic foothills of the Himalayas as you descend to the plains, transitioning from the lush greenery of Bhutan to the bustling activity of India's roadways. As you travel, take in the final views of the landscapes that define this region, from rolling hills and rivers to the small towns and tea gardens of North Bengal. This drive provides a smooth transition from the tranquility of Bhutan to the vibrant life of India, offering reflections on the serene and spiritual experiences of your travels. Upon arriving at Bagdogra Airport, you will proceed with the check-in procedures for your flight. The journey from the serene kingdom of Bhutan concludes here, leaving you with cherished memories and stories to share of the culture, natural beauty, and spiritual grace of Bhutan.

Additional Sightseeing or Vehicle Use: Any extra sightseeing or use of the vehicle beyond the itinerary specified, including personal detours or requests, will incur additional charges.
Costs Due to Natural Calamities: Any additional expenses arising from natural calamities like landslides, road blockages, or political disturbances such as strikes, which may affect travel plans, will have to be paid by the client directly on the spot.
